La Val Treixadura 2024

La Val Treixadura Spain White Wine is from Rías Baixas, made from Treixadura. It is well suited for seafood dinners, casual gatherings and sharing over a meal, and pairs well with shellfish, fish, fresh cheeses, rice dishes and pasta.

History of the Wine
The wine was created as a single-varietal expression of Treixadura from La Val's Porto estate in Salvaterra do Miño, close to the Miño River. Its fruit comes from a four-hectare vineyard planted on alluvial soils and rounded stones where the river once flowed, giving the vineyard a distinctive connection to its riverside origin. The grapes are traditionally trellised and hand-harvested before spontaneous fermentation and three months of ageing on fine lees, preserving the Atlantic character of the variety.
