Based in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, the historic heart of Cava in Penedès, Pere Ventura was established in 1992 by Pere Ventura and became the foundation of what is today Pere Ventura Family Wine Estates. The family’s connection to Cava stretches back generations, with Pere Ventura representing the fourth generation of a family involved in its production. From the outset, the winery has focused on crafting premium sparkling wines under DO Cava, bringing together traditional-method winemaking with a contemporary pursuit of elegance, precision and quality.

At the heart of Pere Ventura is a strong connection between origin, extended ageing and craftsmanship. Its collections range from Tresor and Vintage Gran Reserva to the limited-production Gran Vintage Paraje Calificado Can Bas, whose identity is closely tied to the distinctive soils and microclimate of its qualified vineyard site. Through careful selection of traditional varieties such as Xarel·lo, Macabeu and Parellada, alongside Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in selected cuvées, Pere Ventura creates Cavas that balance freshness and finesse with the complexity developed through prolonged ageing on the lees.
