La Val Albariño Spain White Wine is from Rías Baixas, made from Albariño. It is well suited for seafood dinners, casual gatherings and warm-weather occasions, and pairs well with shellfish, white fish, rice dishes and light pasta.

History of the Wine
The wine comes from La Val, a pioneering Albariño producer founded in O Rosal in 1985 and closely associated with the development of the Rías Baixas appellation. It was created to bring together Albariño from the winery’s different vineyards, combining the characteristics of three distinctive soil types found across the appellation. Granite at Taboexa contributes freshness and acidity, while the alluvial soils and rounded stones of Arantei and Porto contribute fruit character, and schist at Vilachán brings minerality.
