History of the Wine
Metis was created through a collaboration between Klein Constantia and Loire Valley producer Pascal Jolivet, combining Constantia terroir with a minimalist winemaking philosophy inspired by Sancerre. The name “Metis” reflects this meeting of South African and French winemaking approaches. Its identity is therefore closely tied to the place from which it comes.
