A 100% Pinot Noir from the “Les Peuillets” 1er-Cru vineyard in Savigny‑lès‑Beaune (Côte de Beaune, Burgundy), grown by Domaine Jean Guiton. The 2018 wine sees traditional cuvaison (fermentation) and is aged in oak barrels (with a portion of new oak), allowing both fruit expression and structure to build.
Nose: Fresh red-fruit aromas — wild strawberry, red-currant — with floral hints (peony) and a subtle touch of licorice or spice.
Palate: Medium-bodied, with fine and elegant tannins, bright acidity, and pure red-berry fruit flavour. The finish remains fresh and clean, with a gentle mineral / slightly earthy undertone.
