Contino Reserva Spain Red Wine is from Rioja Alavesa, made from Tempranillo, Mazuelo, Graciano and Garnacha. It is well suited for dinner parties, special occasions and sharing over a meal, and pairs well with roasted red meats, lamb, hearty stews and mature cheeses.

History of the Wine
The wine was created as Contino's estate Reserva, bringing together selected micro-parcels from across the property to represent the character of its vineyards as a whole. Rather than being centred on a single plot, each parcel is selected according to its ripeness, acidity and concentration before being brought together in the final blend. The different soils found across the estate's setting within a meander of the Ebro River contribute to the complexity that defines this classic expression of Contino and Rioja Alavesa.
