Il Palazzone Brunello di Montalcino Riserva 2010 is a serious, age-worthy Sangiovese from Tuscany, crafted by Il Palazzone using fruit from several of its vineyard parcels and matured in large Slavonian oak barrels before bottling.
On the nose you’ll find rich aromas of dark berries, black cherry and currant, layered with dried herbs, tobacco, licorice and a subtle mineral/earthy undercurrent. The palate shows full body and a robust structure — juicy dark fruit, cedar, spice and herbal notes with firm yet refined tannins, bright acidity and a long, savory finish often with hints of coffee or tobacco.
