History of the Wine
Muro Sant’Angelo Contrada Barbatto has been produced since 2007 by Tenute Chiaromonte. The wine comes from a small vineyard in Acquaviva delle Fonti, planted with approximately 70-year-old Primitivo vines trained using the traditional Alberello Pugliese system. That site-specific background is central to the wine's identity.
