History of the Wine
Produced by Nicosia, a Sicilian winery established in 1898, Monte San Nicolo Etna Rosso comes from a single contrada on the south-eastern slopes of Mount Etna. The vineyards are planted with traditional bush-trained Nerello Mascalese. This allows the volcanic soils and high-altitude conditions to express the distinctive character of Etna DOC wines.
