Bodegas Muga Selección Especial Reserva Spain Red Wine is from Rioja Alta, made from Tempranillo, Garnacha and other varieties. It is well suited for dinner parties, relaxed evening gatherings and sharing over a meal and pairs well with roast lamb, grilled meats and Mediterranean dishes.

History of the Wine
The wine was created as a more selective expression of Muga's Rioja vineyards, using lower-yielding sites and a separate vinification and ageing programme. The wine is based on selected low-yielding vineyards and follows its own fermentation and ageing programme. Its identity is therefore closely tied to the place from which it comes.

Guidelines
Serve at around 16–18°C to keep the fruit, structure and freshness in balance.
Stand the bottle upright before serving where possible and decant gently only if needed to separate any natural sediment.
Allow the wine to open gradually in the glass and avoid prolonged aeration, as mature vintages can evolve quickly once opened.
