Jean Guiton Ladoix La Corvee 2021

A 100% Pinot Noir from Domaine Jean Guiton, grown in the “La Corvée” 1er-Cru parcel in Ladoix (Côte de Beaune, Burgundy). The wine is vinified with cold maceration, about 20-day cuvaison, and aged 18 months in oak (≈ 20% new barrels), producing a ruby-coloured wine with a structured yet elegant profile.

Nose: Fresh brambly red fruits — think cherry, blackberry/bramble — with subtle wood spice and hints of sous-bois / forest-floor earthiness.

Palate: Medium- to full-bodied for Pinot Noir, with fine, ripe tannins, good concentration, vibrant acidity, and a supple, slightly chewy texture; fruit-forward (red & dark berries), with a smooth, balanced finish.
