Eric Rodez Cuvee Des Crayere

A Grand‑Cru Champagne from Champagne Éric Rodez (Ambonnay), blended from mostly 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay, using wines from several vintages (plus a large proportion of reserve wines). Part of the wine is fermented or aged in small oak barrels, giving extra depth and complexity.

Nose: Floral and mineral aromas upfront turning to red‑ and white‑fruit (pear, red apple, subtle orchard fruit), with hints of candied orange zest, blossom‑honey and a chalky/mineral undertone.

Palate: Fresh and elegant, with lively acidity and a fine mousse; fruit‑driven core (pear/apple/red fruits), balanced by minerality and a slightly salty or “lemony‑saline” finish — bright yet rounded, with good persistence.
