Bodega Yacochuya is a distinguished winery located in Cafayate, Salta, Argentina, renowned for its high-altitude vineyards and premium wines. Situated at 2,035 meters (6,673 feet) above sea level, Bodega San Pedro de Yacochuya boasts some of the highest vineyards in the world. This extreme altitude results in intense sunlight and significant diurnal temperature variations, leading to grapes with thicker skins and concentrated flavors. The winery is a collaboration between the Etchart family, pioneers in Argentine winemaking, and esteemed French enologist Michel Rolland.
