History of the Wine
The wine connects Pinot Noir with Schloss Gobelsburg's Cistercian tradition. This reflects the variety's Burgundian origins and its spread through Cistercian wine culture. The present cuvée is sourced from the gravelly, calcareous Sachsenberg site south of Gobelsburg.
