Montirius Gigondas Terre Des Aines 2017

A powerful, biodynamic red from the southern Rhône, made mainly from old-vine Grenache with Mourvèdre. It shows deep, concentrated aromas of black fruits like blackberry and plum, layered with violet, licorice, garrigue herbs, and subtle earthy spice. On the palate it is rich and structured yet finely balanced, with dense fruit, fresh acidity, and firm, well-integrated tannins that reflect its old-vine origin. Vinified with minimal intervention and aged in concrete rather than oak, it highlights purity of fruit and terroir expression. The finish is long, savoury, and complex, making it an age-worthy Gigondas with depth and elegance.
