San Salvatore Jungano Aglianico 2019

A vibrant, organically produced red from the coastal vineyards of Paestum in Campania. Made from 100% Aglianico, it balances the grape’s naturally firm structure with a more generous, approachable style shaped by the Mediterranean climate. Aromatically, it opens with ripe cherries, blackberries, and plums, layered with violet florals, spice, and subtle earthy and smoky nuances. On the palate it is energetic and medium to full-bodied, showing fine-grained tannins, fresh acidity, and a juicy core of dark fruit. Oak aging adds gentle complexity—notes of tobacco, cocoa, and sweet spice—while maintaining a clean, fruit-driven finish. Structured yet expressive, it reflects Aglianico’s depth while remaining polished and drinkable in its youth.
