Franz Pratzner's riesling is considered by many to be the best in Alto Adige. Aged for almost a year in acacia wood on the lees, Falkenstein's riesling is vigorous, spicy and mineral, with hints of flint, mango and bergamot on the nose. The taste is warm and enveloping, but with straight acidity and remarkable sapidity, with a harmonious progression and very long persistence.
